With the utmost care to personal service, we always provide a scuba Dive Master in the water with all our guests. You can focus on your adventure rather than the little tasks. Your dive will be limited by safe diving practices, not an arbitrary time to be back on the vessel. You will enjoy the freedom to explore the reefs and wrecks as long as safely possible. What this means for you is a truly personal experience like no other…

We offer all our guests a gear rinse and storage while diving with us. We will Clean, Dry, and Store your personal dive equipment so you don’t have to clean it in the shower at the hotel. If you dive with us multiple days Finz will have your equipment ready on your next trip, so you can focus on the fun.

Robert Trosset III

Robert Trosset III

Owner / Captain / Instructor

Robert Trosset III grew up with the Gulf Flats as his backyard. Whenever he could, he would go off exploring mangrove islands, catching fish and learning his way around the beautiful Florida Keys waters. After graduating from college, he moved back to Key West and started running various boats for other companies. It only took a few years for Robert to realize there was a serious gap for scuba divers wanting a more personal scuba dive experience in Key West. Taking what he learned from the dive industry and from college, Robert was able to bring the small island scuba dive feel to Key West with Finz.

Amy Arnold

Amy Arnold

Dive Instructor

Growing up on her family’s farm in rural Eastern North Carolina Amy experienced the outdoors and a connection to the earth from her loving parents very early on. Certified to dive in 2011 she made the Graveyard of the Atlantic her stomping grounds, regularly diving in North Carolina. Whether it was in the ocean, a pool, or even a ditch, the chance to dive was rarely passed up. In 2017 earning her Divemasters she wanted to help other divers and crew on charters, allowing her to train and become a better diver. Amy came to Key West to grow as a Divemaster and gain year round sea time, she has found her home at FINZ. “My first dives at Finz were actually made as a customer. I saw that safety is #1, small groups, Divemaster to guide, excellent crew, just to name a few. This is a business with great standards I wanted to work for, the quality of experience, safety, and sensitivity to the diving environment. I am fortunate enough to work in this industry, but I am God blessed to work at Finz.” Always armed with a cheesy joke Amy hopes to have a positive impact on other divers, helping to keep them safe while sharing a love for the sport. Underneath the waves as your Divemaster, or on the boat as your Captain, she is ready to welcome you aboard. Skills include but are not limited to; bubble rings, underwater charades, spearfishing, watermelon fun facts, dad jokes… “if you can think of any more fish puns just let minnow.”
